Cat climbers are a great way to keep your cat off your furniture and appliances. Every cat owner knows that if there is something to be climbed on, their kitty is going to find a way to get to the top of it. While it can be funny and cute to see them climb things, it can also ruin things around your house and be unsanitary when cats lay on tables and kitchen counters.

If you don’t like your dinner with a side of cat hair, then I would suggest you consider getting a cat climber. It not only keeps your cat happy, but it is a great form of exercise for them as well. Here are a few models under $200 that I have found:

SmartCat Multi-Level Cat Climber – this climber has 4 platform levels and is about 6 feet tall. It attaches to any standard size door and it can easily be taken off and put on any door around your home. It is made of sisal fibers, which means it will be durable and wear well. This generally costs around $85.

Kittywalk Cozy Cat Climber – this is a five story unit that also attaches to any normal sized door. It stretches out to 64 inches and includes several cubby holes where your cats can hide. It is constructed from PVC and is machine washable. It runs about $175.

Cat Craft Three Tier Cat Climbing Tree – this climber fits ceilings between 8-9 feet tall and has three carpeted platforms your car can climb on. This comes in around $70 and is probably the best bet for younger, more active cats.
