Discount cat furniture is something all of us are trying to find at any one time. If you have rambunctious cats like I do, they tend to break their cat towers, perches, etc quite often. This is why I have learned a number of ways to save money when I buy any cat furniture.

One of the easiest ways I have found is to get on the mailing lists at the major pet store chains. I will often get a number of coupons that have literally saved me hundreds of dollars in a year’s time. Every pet store worth their salt has a mailing list, all you have to do is ask to be put on it (this includes email lists as well).

Many pet stores also have clearance items towards the back of their stores. This is always the first place I go when I am looking for cheap cat furniture. There are always a number of discount cat condos and other items on sale at half of their sticker price or more. Just keep in mind that the best time to find these items is after the holidays when people are returning so many products.

I often look on auction sites like Ebay or on Craigslist to find people selling barely used cat furniture. Many times these people bought expensive cat condos and the like, then their cats wanted nothing to do with them. So instead of taking the products back, they put them in storage and now just want to get rid of them. Their loss is your gain!

Finally, if I notice someone is having a yard sale in an affluent neighbourhood, I will make it a point to stop by and see if they have any cat furniture for sale. It is usually in great shape and barely used in most cases, and I always seem to hit a homerun when I use this strategy.
