A pet grooming table can make it much easier to brush your cat, if he is fussy or violent. Not only do these products make it easier on your cat, but on you as well. Many of these tables are designed to restrain your cat so you don’t have to fight with him, and also you won’t have to be bent over or squatting down the entire time (which can wreck havoc on your back and knees).

When looking at pet grooming tables, you will find a wide assortment to choose from, but don’t be drawn into the more expensive models, as these are generally for professional groomers. Since you can find a serviceable grooming table with a modest budget, here are a few that I found that won’t break the bank:

Master Equipment Small Grooming Table (PetEdge) – this is one of the better models I have ever come across for the price. It has a harness collar to keep your cat in place and the table will rotate so you can easily brush where you need to, with the flip of a wrist. It usually costs in the neighborhood of $60-70.

Midwest Plywood Grooming Table – this is your standard grooming table, but the price isn’t bad at around $120. The platform is made from white pine and it is slip proof and water proof as well. The table can be easily folded up and put away for quick storage.

Professional Large Adjustable Pet Grooming Table (MGroom products) – the best thing about this table is that it is fully adjustable. It has a harness collar as well to keep your cat from running off and it is made of leather and wood.

If you are looking for a great all around grooming table, I definitely suggest the one from Petedge, not because it costs less, but because it is compact and the rotating feature makes it a snap to brush your cat.
